Together, we've helped transform post-and-beam barns into stunning custom residences across California. While Timberlyne provides the beautifully crafted exterior structure and structural plans, our team handles everything inside—from space planning and interior design to the full set of permit-ready interior plans. It’s a true design-build partnership that ensures each home is as beautiful on the inside as it is structurally sound on the outside.
One of our favorite examples is a recent project in Brentwood, California. The homeowners came to us with a vision: to build a modern barn-style home on a vacant lot using Timberlyne’s signature post-and-beam system. We got to work creating a highly functional interior layout that reflected their lifestyle, while honoring the natural warmth and character of the timber frame.
Our role in these barn home conversions includes:
