We reimagined the entire footprint of the kitchen, starting with a 3-foot expansion onto the front patio—an underutilized space that now serves a major purpose. This allowed us to create room for a large center island, which was at the top of their wish list. We also relocated the front door, which freed up wall space for a new range and a sleek hood, creating a beautiful and functional cooking zone.

The new layout now connects seamlessly to the living room and existing dining area, fulfilling the homeowners’ desire for flow and connection. A standout feature is the bifolding window over the new sink wall, paired with a countertop overhang to create an indoor-outdoor entertaining experience—perfect for warm days and casual hangouts.
Timeless Finishes with Modern Durability
The homeowners love the timeless appeal of black and white, so we leaned into that palette with classic, durable materials. The perimeter countertops are a soapstone-look quartz by MSI—low maintenance with a natural, matte finish. The waterfall-edge island is topped with a bright white quartz that adds contrast and modern elegance to the space. Sleek cabinetry, warm wood flooring, and understated pendant lights complete the look.
