Our Napa Vacation Rental reveal is finally here. We spent a little over a year working with the homeowners making their dreams a reality. We took their early 1900’s Queen Ann Victorian family home and transformed it into a luxurious 3 suite retreat. JLM Designs consulted from the beginning creating preliminary floor-plans and mood boards and assisted all the way through the permitting phase with drafting the construction set of plans for permits. We brought the homeowners to the finish line with design led project management where we helped them hand pick every detail during construction.
We were lucky enough to be the first to stay at the Mendez House before it opened to the public. What a treat to be able to stay in a space we designed and experience the luxuries of future guests.
This location is different from many other B & B’s in Napa, because it offers private suites instead of renting a room and sharing common areas. The two upstairs suites offer private living rooms, large bedrooms, soaking tubs, as well as private entrances. They also have the ability to open up to each other for guest looking to rent the whole floor.
Suite A has such an amazing private living room area which is great for hanging out as a large group. This is where we spent most of the time during our stay.
Suite A bedroom overlooks the living room through custom pocket doors. A soaking tub was placed in the bedroom and allows guest to overlook the gas fireplace in the living room if pocket doors are left open.
Suite B offers a smaller living room space but also has a small dining area with kitchenette which can be great for couples with children.
